As you all know, Tusker has been only produced in bottle since it started in 1990. In order to develop and adhere to environmentally correct practices, Tusker currently recycles and re-uses most of the by-products that are released from the mass production of Tusker beer. It keeps our Port-Vila clean.
On October 2015, to celebrate its 25th anniversary ,Tusker released its beer in can in limited edition only. The cans are made of aluminum which is 100% recyclable. Cans are lightweight and crushable and by recycling them you can save 95% of the energy required for initial production.
In order to collect the empty Tusker Cans, we are introducing the Tusker Maxi Draw. We’re making recycling a rewarding experience.
There will be a big raffle, in order to win many prizes. The draw will take place on the 29Th January 2015, at Tusker Office (Tagabe).
Details of the rules below:
- Buy one carton of Tusker cans in our office at Tagabe or our retail shop Vanuatu Wines & Spirits (in front of Anchor Inn) and get two raffle tickets
- If you bring us six empty Tusker cans, we’ll exchange with one raffle ticket. We only collect empty Tusker cans on :
- Wednesdays at our office at Tagabe
- Fridays at Vanuatu Wines & Spirits (front of Anchor Inn)
We also buy the empty Tusker (only 1k or 0.5kg) cans on top of that:
- 30vt for 1kg empty Tusker cans collected
- 15vt for 0.5kg empty Tusker Cans collected
